Meet Our Veterinarians 

Dr. Elizabeth A. Lauron


    Dr. Lauron was born in England. Her parents were both British and immigrated to Los Angeles, California when she was just two years old. She attended The Master's College in southern California where she majored in Physical Education with a minor in Biological Sciences.

    While teaching in secondary education for four years, she completed a Master's degree in Education Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Realizing her true calling was in the veterinary profession, she attended The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine where she obtained her DVM degree in 1998.

    Upon graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Lauron and her husband Neal decided to reside permanently in Grove City and raise a family. After working for five years as an associate veterinarian, Dr. Lauron had the opportunity to purchase Broadway Veterinary Hospital in November 2003.

    In 2007 she and Dr. Kerr purchased the building and property on the South-East corner of 665 and Hoover Road in Grove City and renovated the former church, Concord United Methodist Church into Concord Chapel Animal Hospital. She greatly enjoys the privilege of practice ownership, but especially enjoys being able to work in Grove City, the area where she and Neal have grown to love.

    Her special interests include reading, tennis, puzzles and Ohio State basketball. Dr. Lauron and Neal currently reside in Grove City with their two children, Daniel and Zachary, along with five cats, Benny, Tiberius, Pete, Katniss and Rico. They also recently acquired two Olde English Bulldogge puppies named Reggie and Miles.

Dr. Jill Schnader

Associate Veterinarian

he moved to Columbus to attend The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with her DVM degree in 2001. During veterinary school, Dr. Schnader was active with the Raptor Rehabilitation program, the student chapter of the AVMA and OTS, a veterinary fraternity. 

   After graduation, she and her husband Kelly decided to settle in Grove City when she accepted a position as associate veterinarian at Obetz Animal Hospital. Throughout her years at Obetz Animal Hospital, Dr. Schnader developed her interests in ultrasound, internal medicine and behavior. She has also been the Secretary for the Columbus Academy of Veterinary Medicine since 2005.

Out of the office, Dr. Schnader is a busy mom with two girls, Morgan and Erin, as well as Murphy the Wheaten Terrier, two cats (Opus and Minnie the Mooch), and a Chinchilla named Guillermo, AKA Gilly. When she is not carpooling kids to gymnastics practices or meets, Dr. Schnader enjoys reading, Zumba, scrapbooking/ crafting, cooking and is learning the finer points of cake decorating.

Dr. Gale M. Kerr


    Dr. Kerr grew up in Saratoga Springs, New York and attended Rensselear Polytechnic Institute (RPI), graduating in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

    Dr. Kerr played collegiate varsity basketball and soccer while attending RPI. She moved to the Columbus area to attend The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with her DVM degree in 1999.

    Upon graduation, she completed an internship in June 2000 at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. The internship focused on internal medicine, surgery, and emergency medicine.

    She then returned to Columbus in September of 2000 and began working at Obetz Animal Hospital as the Head Associate Veterinarian until June of 2004 when she joined Broadway Veterinary Hospital. In late 2007, she and Dr. Lauron established Concord Chapel Animal Hospital on the corner of 665 and Hoover Road in Grove City.

   Dr. Kerr enjoys spending time with her family: husband Dave, daughters Devyn, Reese and Jordan, a terrier mix named Oscar, a French Bulldog named Pax, and four cats, Moxie, Ferrous, Salem, and Cricket (aka Meep). Dr. Kerr currently plays ice hockey for the Columbus Capitals women's traveling hockey team, reads science fiction and mystery novels, plays soccer and basketball whenever possible, and loves Ohio State football. GO BUCKS!

Dr. Breanna Reys

Associate Veterinarian

   Dr. Reys was born and raised in Dublin, Ohio with her two brothers. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Cincinnati in 2014. Embracing a unique opportunity, she moved to the Caribbean islands of St. Kitts and Nevis to pursue her DVM

degree at Ross School of Veterinary Medicine. By doing so, she experienced life on a tiny island with a rich culture and welcoming community. Dr. Reys graduated in January 2018 after completing her clinical year at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

      She began working at Rascal Animal Hospital and Emergency Care where she learned emergency and critical care skills as well as gained valuable surgical experience. One of her primary interests in veterinary medicine is surgery, with foreign bodies being her her current favorite surgery. You never know what you are going to find—squeakers, socks, and diapers, oh my!

    Dr. Reys loves to read, bake, and cuddle with her three cats while not working…and of course, her husband, Matt. Although no kids are in the mix yet as they are recently married, their three cats Toby, Leonardo DiCatrio, and Tilly Furlicity, keep them on their toes and are always needy for attention and food.

Leann Smith

Veterinary Technician 

Leann became a passionate animal lover after her family adopted 2 kittens when she was 12 years old. She graduated from the Vet Tech Institute at Bradford School in 2008. Leann has always lived near Grove City. She has 5 cats--Tater, Ginny, Bugs, Willow, and Waffles.

Leann especially loves cats! When she is not working, she enjoys exercising, reading, spending time with her husband and family as well as traveling.

Katherine Gibson


   Katherine realized that she wanted a career helping animals when she was in the second grade. She graduated from Columbus State with a Veterinary Technology Associate Degree of Applied Science. Her family includes her husband, Ethan, daughter Kaydence, son Kellan, and their dogs; Wrigley and Millie, one turtle named Leo, and 

three cats named Willie, Wonka, and Matilda. Katherine enjoys quilting, reading and volunteering with church activities.

Holley Johnson

Veterinary Technician

   Holley grew up in Grove City and is now attending Columbus State Community College to pursue a degree in Veterinary Technology. She has always had a passion for animals and knew that working in the veterinary field was the right fit for her. Holley has two terrier mixes of her own (Perry and Douglas). When she is not 

learning more about our furry friends, she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.

Laura Ledbetter

Client Care Coordinator

   Laura moved to Ohio from Missouri where she taught high school Biology for a number of years.

She has a degree in Biology and in Botany from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri and her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Missouri – Columbia.

    She lives in Grove City with her husband Jeff. They have three daughters, Layle, Lydia and Lexi along with their adorable pug D’Artagnan (Dart) and handsome cat Madison.

    Laura started working at Concord Chapel in 2008. She loves working in the beautiful renovated Concord Chapel as well as the client and pet interaction. In her spare time, Laura enjoys her church groups, working out, reading, crocheting, gardening and genealogy.

Cortney Braid

Client Care Coordinator

Cortney has been with Concord Chapel Animal Hospital since 2017. She is one of the first smiling faces that will welcome you at the animal hospital. She has worked with small animals and horses for many years. She has a son and six fur babies. Cortney enjoys reading and traveling when she is not working.

Sydney Sweet

Veterinary Assistant

   Sydney was born and raised in Westerville, Ohio. She is a third year student at The Ohio State University pursuing a degree in Animal Science with the goal of attending Veterinary School in the near future.

    She has an adorable domestic short haired cat named Tobi. She knew that she wanted to work in the veterinary field since she was eight years old. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, reading, working out, and just being outdoors.

Zachary Lauron

Veterinary Assistant

   Zach started working at Concord Chapel Animal Hospital in the early summer of 2019. He enjoys working with animals everyday, and has a passion for veterinary medicine.

   He graduate Summa Cum Laude and with an Honors Diploma from Grove City Christian High School in May 2020, and has been accepted at the University of Findlay and

will major in Animal Science/Pre-Vet. Zach will also play soccer for the Findlay Oilers.  

    Zach plays the drums Sunday mornings on the Worship team at Mount Sterling Church of the Nazarene. Outside of work and school, Zach enjoys hanging out with his friends, working out, running, and drumming. 

Melissa Holcomb

Client Care Coordinator

Melissa has lived in many places, but now calls Groveport home. She is passionate about animals and specifically large breed canines. She loves meeting the patients (animals) and their people! There are currently five dogs on the family’s homestead as heritage hogs, fainting goats

 (yes, it reads correctly…fainting goats), and chickens. Family is very important to Melissa, so she hosts family reunions with relatives attending from all over the country. Time spent in nature with her children, grandchildren, and furry kids is a top priority!


Cat Scan

   Lollipop is our three legged feline that lives at Concord Chapel. Lollipop is a very affectionate cat who loves to be petted and twirl around your legs. You might find her hanging out with the 

receptionist at the front desk, sitting on her cat ledge looking out at the birds, or sleeping on her bed upstairs in the doctor's office. Lollipop also gets very concerned when cats or kittens are crying or when dogs are whining and will come investigate what all the noise is about.

   Her favorite thing, however, is feeding time. It is not unusual for Lollipop to pester anyone cooking something in the microwave or sitting down to eat their lunch.

Brandy DiGangi

Veterinary Technician

Assistant Practice Manager

   Brandy was born and raised in Orient Ohio and graduated from Westfall High school. Growing up she was always around animals, and heavily involved with 4-H. Even as a little girl she always knew she wanted to work with animals.

Brandy is a 2011 graduate from The Vet Tech Institute at

Bradford School, and has a associate degree in applied Animal Science. Brandy completed her veterinary technician externship shadowing at Concord Chapel in 2011, since CCAH had always been special to her for being her families veterinarian. Brandy joined the Concord Chapel team in 2014.

   Brandy is known as the "pug lover" around the office, and is also recognized for pet sitting for many clients and their furry families. When she is not at work Brandy enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends attending country music concerts, seeing the latest movies, antiquing, and taking road trips exploring the state. Brandy married Jayson DiGangi in May 2018. Brandy has 2 dogs, a pug named Archie, and a Chihuahua-Jack Russel mix named Fernando. Brandy also has 2 cats, LeRoy and Etta Mae. 

Cindy Luhring VeterinaryTechnician/Behavior Consultant

   Cindy Luhring has been working as a technician and behavioral consultant at Concord Chapel Animal Hospital since 2008. Ten years prior to working for us, she honed her skills at Upper Arlington Veterinary Hospital. She has become an indispensable leader among 

the hospital staff as well as a mentor to the less experienced staff members. Cindy makes all of the pets and their parents feel comfortable and loved. She has put her skill as a behavioral consultant to good use by starting puppy classes to help with basic training, prevention of common phobias and separation anxieties, and leash training. She has also started behavior consultations to work with our clients and patients on behavior modification for common behavior problems.

   Cindy hails from Defiance, OH, but has lived in the Columbus area for the past 18 years. She lives with her three cats, G, Azreal, and Stripe as well as her 2 dogs Anya and Bob.

Cindy is a very active person who loves to play most sports, but basketball and baseball are her favorites. She spends most of her spare time walking her dogs (as well as all the other canines she is dog sitting). She has been known to pick a park in Ohio on her day off and spend it hiking with her dogs.

Abby Mink


   Abby was born and raised in West Chester, Ohio, 30 minutes north of Cincinnati. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati—Raymond Walters College with a Veterinary Technology degree in 2011.

Before coming to Concord Chapel Animal Hospital in July of 2016, she worked as an Emergency Veterinary Technician for five years in 

the Cincinnati area. She has always had a strong passion for animals and grew up with many family pets, including cats, dogs, horses, snakes, and mice to name a few. Abby feels very blessed to have found a career that she is truly passionate about and loves doing every single day.

She now resides in the city of Zanesville with her boyfriend and multiple furry friends. She has one dog, a Pug mix, named Darla, and four cats named Opie, Mack, Chloe, and Nora. In her spare time, she enjoys watching and playing sports, of which soccer is her favorite.

Abby also enjoys camping, hiking, going on walks and being outdoors. She loves watching movies as well, and spending as much time with family as possible.

MacKenzie Chapman

Veterinary Assistant/Client Care Coordinator

   MacKenzie has lived in Grove City her entire life, and is a graduate of Bishop Ready High School. She is currently attending Columbus State Community College to earn her Associates Degree in Science. She then plans to transfer to The Ohio State University to acquire her Bachelor Degree in Animal Science.  

   MacKenzie has wanted to become a veterinarian for as long as she can remember, and loves every minute working at Concord Chapel Animal Hospital. She has two tabby cats, Cleopatra and Apollo (a CCAH adoption kitten:), a yellow Labrador retriever named Hondo, and a goldfish named Pudge.

When she is not working or going to school, she enjoys going fishing, spending time with friends and family, playing piano or drawing.

Daniel Lauron

Veterinary Assistant

    Daniel started working at Concord Chapel Animal Hospital in December 2019 just before the new year. He loves all his five cats and two dogs. Katniss one of the cats, sleeps with him!

    He is a sophomore at Ohio State and is majoring in Criminal Justice & Forensic science. 

    Daniel is a graduate of the Grove City Christian School and was in the Marching Band as well as the


school's rifle team. He is a Private First Class in the Army Infantry, currently serving in the Ohio Army National Guard. 

   Besides school and the Army, during his free time, Daniel is a Dungeon Master with his best friends and is an assistant to the GCCS Marching Band.

Grace Tomlinson

Veterinary Assistant

   Grace has grown up in the Columbus area and is happy to be back in town after being away for 4 years at Miami University (Ohio), where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology and Neuroscience.

    While studying zoology and living with her animal-loving roommate, Grace’s passion for animals grew. 

She has one American Staffordshire Terrier mix (Spud) at home and two dwarf hamsters (Bo and Bell).

   Grace is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Global Public Health from The Ohio State University and plans to attend Medical School. In her spare time, she enjoys coaching and playing softball locally in the area.

Joyce Rice

Client Care Coordinator

Before starting employment with Concord Chapel Animal Hospital in May of 2019, Joyce worked as both a veterinary assistant and receptionist at several animal clinics in the Columbus area over the past 25 years. A former humane officer as well, she has always been passionate about animal welfare and the plight of 

abused and neglected animals. She has also volunteered and fostered for various rescue groups in the area, including Colony Cats & Dogs and Beagles R Us.

   Joyce lives in Columbus with her two rescued mutts, Jake and Annie, and her extra-large cat, Nigel. In her free time, she enjoys listening to live music with her friends, reading, or just hanging out with her four-legged family members

Terri Tillman

Client Care Coordinator

Terris is a Buckeye native and has always had a great love and respect for all animals. She worked in the medical field for many years which she enjoyed. However, she is extremely excited to be working where she is happiest. She enjoys hanging out with her daughter,  Cameron, and also her black Labrador mix, Sasha, and new kitten, Nala.

Neal Lauron

   Neal is married to Dr. Lauron and maintains the web page and all our social media sites. He produces videos and shoots the pictures and is Lollipop's back up.

But what he loves most is operating a zero turn mower on our yard. He loves the animals who visit our hospital, but dislikes it very much when he runs over and especially, when he mows the little surprises they leave behind.
